History

The company Rohde was founded in 1982 by the engineer Dipl.Ing. Helmut Rohde
in Geilertshausen, south of Munich. The construction of ceramic kilns and the
development of kiln controllers soon lead to an unexpectedly high inflow of orders.
Due to this development the company was converted into Helmut Rohde GmbH in 1984.
Since then the continuing growth of the company made several changes of site
necessary.

For more than ten years now the company has been situated in Prutting near Rosenheim
(between Munich and Salzburg). In 1992 we founded a subsidiary in the
Czech Republic parallel to our company in Germany. We succeeded in establishing a
well organised production of kilns and machines which meats the top standards of the
pan-European market.

In January 2001 Rohde GmbH started to restructure the company after the strong
growth during the previous years. In this way we optimised our ability of adjusting to the requirements of our customers and the market. 2002 this process also enabled us to
increase our product range by including the extensive field of heat treatment for metals..
